Meet Our Team
Kristina House, RDN, LD, CD, MPLC, CDP- Owner
I am a Registered Dietitian and Medical Legal Expert with over 17 years of experience, specializing in long term care and the nutritional management of older adults and medically complex populations. My career has been dedicated to supporting high quality, evidence-based care in nursing homes and assisted living environments, with a focus on optimizing health outcomes and ensuring resident safety.
In my clinical practice, I have extensive experience working within interdisciplinary teams to assess nutritional risk, prevent and treat malnutrition, and develop individualized care plans for residents with chronic disease, cognitive impairment, and advanced medical needs. My areas of expertise include dysphagia management, texture modified diets, enteral nutrition, wound healing, and regulatory compliance in long term care settings. I have a thorough understanding of standards of care, documentation requirements, and quality improvement processes within regulated healthcare environments.
As a Medical Professional Legal Consultant, I provide expert analysis in cases involving long term care, focusing on standards of care, risk management, and clinical accountability. I review medical records, assess the appropriateness of nutrition interventions, and prepare clear, detailed, and objective reports for legal proceedings. My work frequently involves cases related to malnutrition, dehydration, pressure injuries, falls, and the nutritional implications of neglect or substandard care.
With a strong commitment to professional integrity and ongoing education, I aim to bridge the gap between healthcare and the legal system. My goal is to support fair, evidence-based outcomes while advocating for the highest standards of care in long term care settings.

I am a Registered Dietitian with more than 15 years experience. I have specialized in working with the geriatric population for the past 12 years focusing mainly in the skill nursing and long term care setting however have also spent time working with both assisted living and independent living campuses. In addition to working in a geriatric population, I have also worked with individuals focusing on their specific nutritional goals for patient centered counseling. My roles have been varied and haven given me vast experience as both the clinician making appropriate nutritional recommendations to allow seniors to thrive and as the supervisor role ensuring that other clinicians are following the best practices indicated by the industry.
I have years of experience working as a part of interdisciplinary team to determine the best nutritional plan of care for each individual while focusing on their individual risks and needs. No person is the same and assessing their needs allows for the best possible care. I am focused on ensuring each person in my care has their needs addressed and suited to what best works for their lifestyle whether remaining in a long term care setting or returning to the community.
In my time working in this specialized industry, I have become very familiar with standards of care, regulations, and determining that interventions are both timely and appropriate.
